TaxOps' Partner Judy Vorndran moderates opening session at ABA/IPT conference

Judy Vorndran, CPA, Esq., and partner of TaxOps, moderated the opening session entitled, "Ready or Not: States Roll Out BIG Changes in Reaction to Federal Tax Cuts” at the ABA/IPT Advanced Tax Seminars. The conference is being held in New Orleans from March 11-15.

The annual conference brings the latest updates in tax law to tax professionals nationwide is jointly sponsored by the American Bar Association Section of Taxation and the Institute for Professionals in Taxation.  

In the opening session, experts discussed the most significant impacts of the federal Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) on state taxation, including states’ legislative and administrative responses and anticipated judicial challenges.
