He has extensive experience in Corporate and Partnership taxation and has consulted on a wide range of issues including formation and liquidation, choice of entity, merger and acquisition, debt restructuring, accounting methods and evaluation of exposures.
Dan DeLau
Dan is a Director with and founder of TaxOps, LLC. Dan’s practice focuses on the tax implications of corporate and business transactions and the tax operations of business enterprises. Dan has extensive experience in running the corporate tax function for multi-national, multi-state corporations, ensuring the timely preparation of consolidated federal and multi-state income tax returns and sales/use and personal property tax returns.
Rebecca Godkin
Rebecca is a Director with TaxOps, LLC. Rebecca’s primary area of emphasis is accounting for income taxes, in accordance with both U.S. GAAP and IFRS. Rebecca has extensive experience preparing and reviewing income tax provisions. She is intimately familiar with the income tax provision complexities associated with uncertain tax positions, business combinations, share-based compensation, foreign subsidiaries and affiliates, foreign currency transactions and translations, intraperiod and interperiod tax allocations, detailed tax planning strategies and the evaluation of valuation allowances.
Mark Dunning
Mark is a Director with TaxOps, LLC. Mark’s professional emphasis is primarily leading tax savings implementation projects. Mark has developed deep technical knowledge of the Research credit spanning across all industries, however he specializes in automotive, engineering, medical, manufacturing and software.
Mike Abramovitz
Mike is a Director with TaxOps, LLC. Mike’s professional emphasis is primarily on income tax consulting and compliance. He has extensive experience in Corporate and Partnership taxation and has consulted on a wide range of issues including accounting for income taxes (ASC740), merger and acquisition, debt restructuring, accounting methods, issues specific to public companies as well as private equity firms and their portfolio companies.
Sherri Overdorf
Sherri started her career focusing on income tax compliance for individuals and personal service corporations and in 1998 moved to Denver and took a position with Ernst & Young and was promoted to Tax Manager in 2001 where she focused on corporate income tax compliance.
Phillip Buckley
Phillip has focused his professional career on income tax compliance. Phillip began his professional career in Orange County, CA with Deloitte & Touche and in 1992, he took a position as Tax Manager at Fluor Daniel focusing on the financial statement reporting of income tax transactions. Phillip moved to Denver in 1996, took a position with Ernst & Young and was promoted to Director of Tax Compliance in 2000.
Jamie Overberg
Jamie spent 13 years with the tax practice of Ernst & Young in Denver. Jamie has experience with R&D tax related activities from calculation and documentation to financial reporting aspects required under FAS 109 and Fin48. She has also worked on numerous R&D tax controversy engagements. Jamie was most recently a member of Ernst & Young’s National Research and Development practice based in Washington, DC.
Kim Sandstrom
Kim’s main focus is on state and local issues from sales and use tax to business personal property tax. Kim began her career with a multi-national corporation managing all aspects of the corporate tax department.
Zachary Bowman
Zach began his career at Ernst &Young, LLP in 2008 and gained experience in both income tax compliance and consulting. He has experience working on International, Federal, and State and Local issues for both large and middle market clients.
Andrea Collins
As the Operations Manager for TaxOps, Andrea’s primary responsibility is to ensure that our service providers have the facilities, services, staffing and support to be successful in their roles and allow them to focus their full-time efforts on client service.
