Cara Marczewski

Cara Marczewski specializes in preparing and reviewing corporate, partnership, and S-corp tax returns. She analyzes tax provisions and uncertain tax positions for public and private companies that operate across state and international tax jurisdictions. Her detail-oriented work and client relations experience also supports effective tax strategy planning.
Prior to joining TaxOps, Cara worked in the private sector as a corporate tax accountant with The Gates Corporation preparing tax provisions and deferred taxes, managing corporate income and franchise tax obligations for subsidiary corporations, and preparing and reviewing federal, state and local tax returns for corporations with filing requirements in more than 40 jurisdictions. She gained public accounting firm experience as a senior tax associate with CBIZ MHM.
Cara holds a Master of Taxation from the University of Denver and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Colorado State University. She has prepared and taught technical tax and skill training to develop professional aptitude and confidence among CPAs.
